I’m celebrating 22 years of sobriety and abstinence. :)
Had to take a survey for a class where they asked a bunch of questions about sex, drugs, alcohol and exercise. While I’m far from a model when it comes to exercising, I was so happy I could honestly say that I had never had sex, done drugs or went drinking.
That’s not to say that all those things are wrong—in the proper context and such, but it feels really good to be able to say that I stuck to my guns, I resisted peer pressure and stayed above the influence for all these years and I think that it’s something to be celebrated.
